Erwin Tibad

Erwin Tibad, born in 1956, is a fly fisherman and passionate fly tier. He first held a fishing rod in his hands at the age of five. Thirty years later, he changed to fly rods and began tying his own flies. As a dental technician, he naturally has a knack for details and likes to explore materials that are not originally designed for fly tying. Erwin Tibad has won several titles at the German Open Championships in fly tying and he demonstrates fly tying at various events.
