Like most people I started fishing for trout but this never held the same magic as fishing for salmon. The art of Speycasting was something I loved from the first time I tried it.
I have worked as a professional casting instructor for over 15 years, both on the many stunning rivers in Scotland and further afield in Norway and Iceland.

I have been lucky enough to work with some of the most talented instructors in the salmon world. I have also met some amazing people who I have had the honour of teaching, many of whom are now close friends.
I’m really looking forward to come again to the EWF show and hope the casting clinics will improve the techniques of experienced salmon fisherman and also encourage newcomers to the sport.
