Compared to the previous model, number 17 has kept everything we love, from its über-soft DNA Loft midsole—a blend of air, rubber, and foam—to its sleek engineered mesh upper. For even more cushioning, the new model also has an OrthoLite sockliner, which ensures long-lasting softness thanks to open-cell PU foam.
The neutral shoe is not built for competition due to its bulk and low energy return. Instead, the Glycerin 17 is more suited for recovery runs and long mileage, when your legs and feet need a gentle carriage. Soft Interior
Underfoot you want a cushioned ride but a comfortable upper is just as important. A bootie-like interior has a cozy feel around the foot. Women may need to thread the laces through an extra eyelet—fortunately, the laces are long enough—for a more secure fit around the ankle, as the fit is a little loose in the heel.
