Fun Half Marathons, “Oof—that one hurt.” For Olympian Emily Infeld, it’s one-kilometer repeats. Last summer, before qualifying for the World Championships in the 5,000 meters, the Nike athlete crushed four sets of 1Ks, finishing the final rep at a blistering 4:28-mile pace. “It was a shock to the system, and I was really thankful to have my husband, Max, with me because I was hurting after the second rep,” she remembers.
