Although of course I love seeing brand new designs each season, I generally feel just as curious about how the world’s biggest accessories brands will find new ways to tweak and update their biggest moneymakers in order to keep shoppers intrigued and engaged. Newness is important, but longevity is what pays the bills, and keeping things fresh for years is a totally different kind of design skill than debuting something flashy and brand new. For Winter 2018, Vuitton has decided to reinvent some of its most beloved bags with a fun new detail: a colorful, braided top strap.
