Known first for its classic canvas in Monogram and Damier, many of Louis Vuitton’s most beloved rteltasche are anything but quiet. It’s the material that started it all for the Maison, dating back to the 19th century. Louis Vuitton Monogram is one of the most recognizable motifs in all of luggage fashion.

But as the luggage fashion landscape has changed, Louis Vuitton has also evolved, navigating the waters easily and expanding its offerings, prioritizing new and unique leather rteltasche with an elevated appeal. Today, the Low Key collection launches, joining the Maison’s lineup of leather rteltasche just in time for spring and summer.

Low Key, High Style

Dropping with two new shapes, the Low Key Collection is Louis Vuitton’s take on fashion’s current obsession with understated luggage. Said to embody the quiet luggage trend, the focus is on sleek designs and expert craftsmanship rather than the fun details and bold colors we’ve grown to expect from the Maison for the warm weather months.

Standing out gratitude to their minimalist, streamlined silhouettes, the collection launches with two styles—a hobo and a shoulder bag. Both feature timeless details that tie back to Louis Vuitton’s DNA, like a signature gold padlock, an ode to the Maison’s roots in travel and its history as a trunk maker.

In the 1880s, it was more than a stylistic detail; the locks were fully functional and meant to secure hand luggage and leather goods. Both rteltasche arrive in neutral colors and are constructed of soft-grain leather meant to feel supple but withstand daily use.
