The mita sneakers x ASICS GEL-Mai Releases On July 1st

Closely following the release of the ASICS Gt 1000 9 G Tx Black Smog Green Hombre, it looks like Japan’s mita Sneakers is also dropping their own version of the unique retro runner. Going quite a bit more low-key than the recent “Underground” edition by Bodega, mita’s GEL-Mai features an all-black upper in suede with a subtle tonal cheetah print on the textile base, all contrasted by a solid white sole. The insoles also feature a graphic of the shop’s signature chain-link fence, backed with the lunar surface. While we wait for a specific story behind the colorway, you can get a full preview of the design here and expect them to drop exclusively at mita on July 1st.
