The Michigan standout, who attended Paramus Catholic High School in New Jersey, was the star of the event, drawing alumni from Paramus, Michigan faithful, and even his former coach and athletic director to Packer Shoes while the two colorways of the cleat sold throughout the day. The event was capped off by adidas surprising Paramus Catholic with a $10,000 on behalf of adidas and Packer that would go towards a scholarship fund for gifted athletes.
