Nike’s ‘Fantastic Four’ Pack featured four models representing each of the four members of the Marvel Comics superhero team – the Nike Zoom Kobe VII Invisibility Cloak from (Mr. Fantastic), Air Force 1 Low (Invisible Woman), Dunk High (The Thing), and Air Max 95 (Human Torch). The opposing force to the ‘Fantastic Four’ Pack was the team’s long-standing rival Dr. Doom, who took form in the Air Foamposite Pro. The shoes originally released in 2006, but with heightened interest around Marvel characters and the return of the Fantastic Four franchise to the silver screen, we’re taking a look back at one of the more memorable capsules from the mid-2000s.

Fun fact: the Human Torch was supposed to be a Dunk High, but got scrapped in favor of the 95s.

Nike Air Foamposite Pro “Doctor Doom”
Victor Von Doom is back in the mainstream thanks to Disney/Marvel’s casting of Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom in the upcoming Avengers films. While best known for his green and silver metallic costumes, Nike opted for a simple black/white colorway of the popular Air Foamposite Pro.
