The ASICS GT-2160 Cools Off In Pure Silver And Sky Blue

The ASICS GT-2160 has emerged as a true tentpole silhouette for the Japanese sneaker giant, a refresh lifestyle silo that wears techwear trendiness just as well as their trail runners. With a four pack of silver-heavy editions emerging last week, ASICS isn’t letting up any momentum, unveiling the newest “Pure Silver” edition set to release for the summer.

Let’s address the overriding atmosphere at play first- these feature the of-seen combination of metallic silver, black and white. There are some key changes that set this drop apart, however. Structurally, the underlying mesh lays out in a far wider arrangement than on mainline releases. Secondly, though its application is slight, baby blue accents that outline the cross-hatch ASICS logo on the side and peek out throughout the shoe bring a noticeable liveliness to this shoe. Closing out the new additions, a faux-vintage off-white midsole throws the silhouette even further back into retro territory.

This ASICS GT-2160 is expected to drop this month, carrying a $120 price tag. Below you can find full official images, with our “Where To Buy” section constantly updated for the latest links when this pair comes about.

Staying in the runners world, a pack of Pharrell x adidas Jellyfish releases emerged for a possible summer release.
