But many of these have been quite low profile in design, something the brand’s latest proposition — the ADI2000 — actively goes against, drawing influence instead from the 2000s.
DC, ETNIES, Osiris, and the like all serve as some inspiration for the ADI2000, which is a drastic departure from anything the Three Stripes have delivered thus far. Below, its tooling is built to platform height, the white construction a perfect match for the sheer bulk above. And the upper is equally built to skate, combining robust hits of mesh, suede, and leather in a black, blue, and white colorway. Fat laces, a padded tongue/heel, and retro logo hits all accompanying, rounding out an effective ode to the decade.
