Labor Day Gear Sales Des Linden, who If you’re like us, you were a bit heartbroken to wake up to a Patriot’s Day without a and was planning to compete in this year’s race, also shared her own Boston memories on Twitter. Having run the course seven times—starting with her debut at the 2007 Boston Marathon—the 36-year-old has a treasure trove of good, bad, challenging, and triumphant moments to reflect on.
“I think this course was built for me,” Linden told Runner’s World after placing fifth in Boston last year. “Whatever the weather and whatever the competitors, I’m always going to come out and represent myself well. When I do decide to walk away, this will feel like my home course.”
