And now, for your Friday entertainment, filmmaker Casey Neistat’s packed marathon day schedule.
The 32-year-old New Yorker, best known for his HBO series The Neistat Brothers and his prolific YouTube videos, ran the New York City Marathon last Sunday—in 3:03:17—then headed off to the inaugural YouTube Video Music Awards. He, of course, shot the entire day. The five-minute clip begins with his birth in 1981, but quickly takes viewers onto the frontlines of this year's marathon (a treat for those of us who did not run) and inside the awards, which he traveled to via cargo truck complete with disco lights and stripper pole.
