Pro runner Katelyn Tuohy is a granola connoisseur, and she has the partnership to prove it. This week, the 21-year-old phenom visited the Granola Factory in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Texas Runner Breaks Two High School 5K Records.

“Katelyn contacted us a few years back when the NIL [name, image, and likeness] deals were starting in college,” Calvin Virgilio of the Granola Factory told Runner's World by email. They didn’t work out a partnership then, but Virgilio and his team spoke with Tuohy after she went pro last year to learn more about her interest in nutrition and food.

“We worked on a granola recipe that was based on two of her favorite [Granola Factory flavors], our original honey pecan and toffee almond clusters,” Virgilio said.

Tuohy, who owns collegiate records in the indoor mile (4:24.26) and 3,000 meters (8:35.20), asked her social media followers to weigh in on granola names. (We like Tu-ohys Chew-ohys.)

“The best part of the trip was having the hands-on experience, experimenting, and coming up with a bunch of test batches to start crafting my own blend,” she said on her Instagram.

Part of Big Sur Course Falls in the Ocean also visited Aardvark Sports Shop Master the Half.
