The “Door to World” collection includes the Zephyrunner Wind Shell, Pace Sports Bra, and Multipass Sling Bag.

Last fall, we spoke with Janji designer Leanna Griffith, who described her process working with patterns and prints, recoloring artwork, and playing with color combinations. The Tectonic Shift print Griffith worked on echoes sunsets and rainbows in earthy hues. It celebrates nature and the beauty we see whenever we explore the trails on a run.

The lightweight Jackal II has a roomy toebox and a supportive compression-molded EVA midsole. Its toothy lugs are ideal for technical terrain. The shoe, which runs in unisex sizing, has been updated with recycled mesh to match Janji’s accompanying kit—the men’s and women’s shorts, tee shirt, and cap all incorporate recycled materials.

The Jackal II is made for rugged trails and mid- to long-distance runs.

“Up until this release, Janji has been known for exclusively creating ultra-capable trail-running apparel, eschewing footwear to focus on bringing durable construction, comfortable performance fabrics, and technical pocketing systems to tops, bottoms, and outerwear designed for all-day endurance pursuits,” said Dave Spandorfer, cofounder and CEO of Janji, in a press release.

“We’ve been patiently waiting for the right footwear partner to come along, and we’ve found that at La Sportiva, making this their first domestic collaboration.”
