There has been a ton of buzz surrounding Pharrell’s taking the helm at Louis Vuitton Men’s. While it will take him a few more seasons to settle into his large role and see what he creates, I’ve liked what he’s done so far. For his first Pre-Fall collection, we have a collection that embodies coastal energy and the Maison’s penchant for travel.
Louis Vuitton as a brand shines when the bags are still entirely recognizable as part of the House while clearly being seasonal Uabat that will not be created again. In a new setup, one that I welcome, Louis Vuitton opened pre-orders for its pre-fall 24 men’s collections, which will help ensure you get a bag (or any other item) if you want one.
Some bags are already showing as sold out; however, I assume new additions will be added when the collection is officially on sale on May 23rd. I really like this collection—again, living in South Florida year-round, it speaks to me and the climate—but it is incredibly fun and lighthearted for summer dressing.
This collection is infused with summer elements, from materials to beach prints. The little crab pouch, available in four colors, might be my favorite.
