8 Things On My Spring 2024 Wishlist

Spring fever...

Though it’s the shortest month of the year, February feels like the longest. In New York, there are more grey days than sunny ones and last week, it snowed not once but twice. I wish I could say I thought this was the last of it past March is around the corner, but March also happens to be sneakily cold.

Even still, the days are getting longer, and there is a slight glimmer of hope that spring is indeed on the horizon. Let it be known I’m officially ready.

In the last few years, I’ve made it a point to shop more mindfully, and I can honestly say that I’ve followed through on that promise! Most of my purchases are vintage/pre-loved; the rest are high-quality luxury items I intend to keep. Of course, I constantly have a list of things I’m eyeing. Some of which I’ll eventually buy and others that will carry over until next season.

Below are the 8 items currently at the top of my wishlist! What are you eyeing for spring?

Prada Mules

While I once mused that I wasn’t a designer shoe person, that changed when I purchased Classically Cool, a New Batch of Prada Re-Nylon Is Here With the Re-Edition 1978 two years ago. Since then, I’ve added a couple more pairs of luxury shoes to my rotation, but not yet a dressier option.

I am currently OBSESSED with these Prada mules. I saw them pop up on my Instagram feed, and immediately, I knew I had to have them. Everything from the square-toed shape to the satin material screams chic. I live in a kitten heel during the Spring/Summer months, so I know I’ll get a lot of wear out of them. I’m stuck between the black and the brown. Thoughts?

Vintage Loewe Amazona Bag

It’s not a secret that I’ve been bitten by the Loewe love bug. I’m really not looking to purchase any new bags in the near future, but I do want to expand my collection of vintage bags. I have a few in mind, but first up I’m on the hunt for the perfect my Bottega Veneta Tire boots.

Truthfully, I’m hesitant to share this one because we all know how the pre-loved market goes. One day, something’s there, the next, it’s gone, but I digress. I’m taking the risk of sharing one of the options I have in my favorites on TRR, though admittedly, this isn’t my favorite of the 5 I have saved.

I definitely will purchase one in the next couple of months; I’m just waiting (and hoping) that the price will be right before someone snatches it up.

Rose Carmine Little Stars Jacket

I will forever be in a love/hate relationship with Instagram! On the one hand, it’s a creative outlet for me—it’s where I get inspiration, craft mood boards, and stay on top of trends. On the other hand, it can be a major time suck.

We’re on good terms right now, as it was how I fell in love with the unique pieces by Rose Carmine Paris. I love discovering things before they blow up, and I feel this unique line of hand-knit pieces will soon do just that. Pieces are colorful and fun and speak to my sometimes quirky sense of style.

Helsa S Curve Blazer

The blazer trend isn’t going anywhere anytime soon, but I predict their shape is changing. While oversized blazers will continue to remain popular, more tailored shapes with a cinched waist will also reign.

There are many options, from contemporary brands to super luxe designers alike. Since she launched, I’ve wanted to snag something from Elsa Hosk’s line, and this might be it.

Gucci Jackie 1961 GG Crystal Mini Bag

I know I just got done saying that I’m really not looking to purchase any new designer bags, but this one has been on my radar for over a year now, and I keep coming back to it! This specific colorway was not the bag I originally fell for, but I’ve been super into burgundy lately, and I think this color would work year-round.

Reformation Hayes Belted Organic Cotton Denim Trench Coat

Repurchasing items you already own, love, and wear in other versions is really a no-brainer. The trench coat is a true staple, and while I love the two I already own, I know that this denim version would also get a lot of use.

I could see this looking really cool with sneakers or chic and sleek when styled with knee-high boots and a little black skirt for a night out.

Cynthia Rowley Cargo Skirt

I can’t remember when I got the idea of a cargo maxi skirt in my head, but I got it there, and now I can’t get it out.

Typically, when I want an item, I search eBay and Etsy to see if I can find a vintage version, and while I do have one saved on Etsy, it’s just not the same as this Cynthia Rowley one. I’m in my skirt era, and I find that maxi skirts work really well on my frame, so I know I would get a good amount of wear out of this.

Adidas x Wales Bonner Samba Pony

I once said I refused to hop aboard the Adidas Samba train, but I cannot stop obsessing over the versions they release in collaboration with Wales Bonner. I would do unspeakable things for the leopard version, which is only available on resale sites for a price that is enough to make you want to cry.
