Makini Regal Martin is a published floral, event, and interior designer, who was inspired after the birth of her daughter, Zuri Rose, to launch a lifestyle blog and children’s book series, The Wonderful World of Zuri Rose. With a mission of creating sophisticated children’s books and products that highlight characters of color, it chronicles Zuri Rose, a curious and rambunctious girl with a love of fashion and flowers, set in their hometown of Brooklyn.
