The 2010 NBA All-Star Weekend has officially kicked off. For the first time in eight years the Rookies came out on top and were led by Sacramento Kings’ Guard, Tyreke Evans, who like most of the other Nike sponsored players wore the new nike sb verge women basketball team in their teams colors. Brandon Jennings of the Milwaukee Bucks had a respectable 22 points and 8 assists in his Under Armour Protege’s; he also might’ve taken some notes from Lebron James by wearing a different colored shoe on each foot. Toronto Raptors’ Rookie, Demar Derozan, won himself a trip to the 2010 NBA Slam Dunk Contest by beating Los Angeles Clippers’ Sophomore, Eric Gordon, in the first ever Slam Dunk-In, the two players wore the Nike Zoom Kobe V and adidas Supernatural Creator respectively.
