Michael Le As the Air jordan First 8 playoffs is making a momentous comeback this year, it would be a shame if the brand left out many of their equally important OGs. Well, it seems that (thankfully) won’t be the case as very quick glimpses of an Air jordan First 1 “Shadow 2.0” have recently surfaced.
Similar to the Shattered Backboard’s updating schema, the 2.0 is different in both name, color blocking, and construction. Rather than follow the original near exactly, the pair transitions the greys from the toe box over to the suede overlays. As such, near everything from the the Swoosh to the forefoot is hued in the light neutral, each panel contrasting that of the black nylon tongues and leather fixtures underneath.
