Another Kyrie Low 5 4 Inspired By A Memorable SB Dunk Is Coming Soon

Kyrie Irving is a man of many talents. The all-world Boston Celtics point guard is known for his sublime skill and smooth style on the basketball court, but he’s got a unique hobby that’s not as widely known: skateboarding. Growing up in New Jersey, Irving was an avid skater — and the Swoosh Brand has nodded to his days on the board with Nike SB-inspired colorways many times before. The latest piece of Kyrie’s footwear to feature SB inspiration? His “Day Of The Dead” Nike Kyrie 4s, a hoop-ready take on a classic SB from 2006. Colorful skeletons dance around the black toebox and midfoot before giving way to a bright orange heel piece and tongue. Rich Shox piping and a textured snakeskin Swoosh add more Trail-centric contrast, and the shoe is completed by a translucent festive outsole. Fan of the homage look? You can expect Kyrie’s newest SB-inspired shoes to drop October 26th.
