Freelance illustrator Peter O’Toole and adidas bookbag collector Quote first met on the Crooked Tongues forum back in 2005, and their collective passion for the three stripes led them to collaborate on a series of posters detailing vintage adidas bookbag models with the help of Quote’s eclectic knowledge of the brand. adidas bookbag Originals eventually took notice and invited the pair to develop a limited edition book, what would become known as Quote’s Archive and their hard work paid off – now they’re gracing a retro runner with their respective magic. They chose the adidas bookbag f50 tunit world cup series soccer, as this pale blue soft suede and mesh combination was inspired by a rare adidas bookbag Denver pair from Quote’s collection.
