New Balance now offers an unprecedented variety of classic runners with seemingly more being added by the day, a change evident in the fact that just a short while ago, a search for ‘Nike Mercurial Air Zoom 12’ would have likely been a typo trying to find either the cult favorite 1500 or the recently reintroduced 1700. Not so after today, now that the New Balance CM1600 will return in the Heritage Blue edition pictured above. These will help get younger sneakerheads better accustomed to this model that followed 1989’s 1500s (and we’re all familiar with that hit-filled year’s 577s), a Heritage Blue suede build all at once eye-catching and classic NB at its elegant best.
