Jared Ebanks At the height fall in 2022, multi-faceted design house HAL STUDIOS teamed up with ASICS in what would be the start of a trilogy of footwear surrounding the GEL-1130. Following the model’s past environmentally-conscious colorways in “Forest” and “Earth”, the three-part explorative series now comes to a close via the cooling effect of a “Glacier”.
The upcoming joint effort sees a tonal collection of “Birch” hues cure the versatilely constructed composition’s supple mesh base layer, seldom leather overlays and Patta suede Zapatillas and mudguard. What’s more, pitch-dark brown contrasts work as a backdrop within the tumbled leather quarter overlay and heel counter while the GEL-cushioned sole unit assumes a neutral uniform undercarriage. Elsewhere, the pair is stricken with a duo of laces, one dipped in the silhouettes accompanying “Off-White” shade while a second crimson red pair brings an added level of flair.
