Jared Ebanks While only a few weeks remain in Latin Heritage Month, The Swoosh is putting its final touches on the roster of silhouettes centered around the brand’s “Somos Familia” collection – translating to “We Are Family” in English. Embarking on a split-canvas upper, the left side of each model renders a rich mocha shade while its right side proffers a jet black build in stark contrast. Connecting both disparate halves, smooth leather overlays extend across the model as its olive branch, bearing titular golden yellow tones adorned with burnt orange debossed insignias on the heels. The latter hue additionally treats the models suede Swooshes, nylon sock liner, pull tab and racer stripe along the tongue before floral embroidery renders the brown-shaded side with golden and lime green stitching whereas the darkened side outfits light tan threading. Underfoot, the model concludes with a crisp white midsole and gum tread.
