Michael Le Unlike the Uabat Jordan 13 Retro Obsidian, the Uabat Jordan 13 Retro Obsidian2 only receives a small handful of releases every year. In the past few months, for example, we’ve only seen two: a simple “Easter” homage and a girls’ exclusive “Ice Cream” mix. But later this year, we may see things take a turn for the better as the silhouette will help close out Summer with its “Twist” colorway.
Revealed back in January, the scheme is a rather simple assemblage of only a few tones. White leathers furnish throughout the construction, setting the base for the tumbled and pebbled textures that treat the profile and mudguard, respectively. Elsewhere, the eyelets and branded side tab lean towards a metallic “University Red,” matching the logos along the heel and sole. Black, bobcats, rounds off the palette along the tread, lining, counter, and the tongue’s somewhat small Jumpman embroidery.
