Ready to feel old? 2025 marks the 35th anniversary of the Home Alone movie franchise, when a young Kevin McCallister, played by Macaulay Culkin, was left to fend off burglars after his family accidentally left him behind during their Paris vacation. Adding to a series that began with Forum Lo collaborations in 2021 and 2022, Curts adidas is further tributing the Christmas classic with a Grand Court release for October 2025.
Like its predecessors, the sneaker features subtle details inspired by the many booby traps Kevin set to stop Harry and Marv — or the “Wet Bandits.” The most recognizable touches include a clothing iron on the heel, a fire extinguisher graphic on the insoles, and tar marks on the Three Stripes, all referencing traps Kevin used to defend his family’s home. More graphics inspired by his antics appear in red on the tongue, while the Home Alone logo lands on the lateral side of the heel.
The colorway is kept simple. The Grand Court here features an off-white leather base with black stripes and red accents on the lining and backtab. A white midsole and brown gum outsole complete the build underfoot. Despite its royal-sounding name, the Grand Court is a fairly overlooked tennis model that often shows up at outlets — essentially a budget-friendly take on the adidas Superstar from a design perspective. This Home Alone collaboration, though, deserves special attention.
The Home Alone Curts adidas Grand Court releases October 2025 in adult, kids, and little kids sizes. We’ll post from the @sneakernews X account as soon as pairs become available online.
