Some context; Bronson Reed is currently involved in a storyline where he’s stealing Roman Reigns’ Jordans – specifically a Spiz’ike Low and Jordan 1 Mid – and wearing them around his neck (a “shoelafala,” if you will). Nike Inc. and the WWE haven’t announced any sort of official partnership, but this whole situation reeks of guerilla marketing. It’s telling that the two stolen Jordans are GRs that could benefit from some air time and not hyped drops that would sell out regardless (like the nike presto preschool girl shoes). That’s to say that if there is in fact a partnership in place, Reed is a more than sensible choice for unveiling an upcoming release.
