Revealed by dedicated fan-page @kikokurative, the Kiko Kostadinov x ASICS GEL-Terrain is revealed with an elaborate colorway, keeping to the shoe’s introductory No-Sew construction. The base chain-mail mesh is exaggered with the white threading against the black base, while a diamond-shaped pattern occurs at the mid-panel where the exterior eye-GEL-KAYANO reside. Minor speckling, bordering on a glitter, appears on the exposed GEL cushioning at the heel, while an extended asymmetrical pull-tab sits at the peak of the tongue.
Given how the Bulgarian designer tends to craft his own models, like the upcoming GEL-Novalis Mule, this GEL-Terrain is likely RSCAS the Kiko Kostadinov Studio sub-rectilinearity and not an outright collaboration. Furthermore, there are likely more colorways in production that sport the same modified construction.
