Amid BOOST technology’s 10th anniversary, adidas has unveiled the UltraBOOST Light, adidas NMD R1 Primeknit Psy Hippie.
The breakthrough was made possible with Light BOOST, a material innovation resulting in a 30% lighter BOOST material than previous iterations. The UltraBOOST Light, however, delivers the comfort, responsiveness, and energy-return fans have come to know and love.

According to adidas’ product page for the new sneaker, the UltraBOOST Light weighs 2.7 ounces less than the UltraBOOST 1.0. Furthermore, the sportswear brand’s recent innovation includes more cushioning, a reworked Linear Energy Point (LEP) component, and 10% lower carbon footprint. Altogether, each aforementioned detail makes an exciting update to a beloved design.
To rise celebrate BOOST’s 10th anniversary, the Three Stripes offers the UltraBOOST Light in a black and yellow color combination inspired by the original EnergyBOOST.
