While Travis Scott and Sacai dominated collaborative headlines in 2019, The Swoosh’s revival of the cult-classic Nike Shox returned one of their most unique constructions to the forefront of their inline offerings. Three years later, the silhouette is being brought back out from the archives for a potential onslaught of colorways and textures mirroring that of its recent revitalization.
Returning to the crisp white outfit of its Shox TL construction from May of 2019, shock absorbers underfoot are harkened from toe to heel, maximizing the full-length cushioning system with each step while rendering a clad colorless match to the hue of its mesh upper and TPU overlays. Furthering the blinding brightness of the upper, the pair’s tongue, laces, mesh sock liner and heel tab indulge in the dominantly treated white shade, save its vibrant red branding placed at the tongue and heel while “Silver Metallic” detailing touches down ruffle a trim around the midfoot Swoosh, heel counter and lace loops in conclusion.
