The sole of the Jordan Proto-Max 720 is back in 2018 after seven years in the Jordan Brand vault: the Stash. Complete with oversized, nylon pouches and cargo pockets, the model is Ocean to make yet another return, trading in its Quai 54 colors for an (almost) all-white look.
Here, the construction, too, sees a slight improvement — canvas builds out many of the overlays, while the base enjoys the durability of nylon ripstop. The compartments laid along the heel and affixed to the side are clad in the same fabric, albeit with the addition of a light, all-over print, whose muted font denotes the shoe’s details in a somewhat militaristic fashion. Aged, yellowed soles then round out the colorway in tandem with the blacked out hardware/branding and red sockliner.
