And here, the Superstar follows a similar approach, though it draws instead from Kyle Broflovski’s clothing of choice.
Kyle’s bright green ushanka, which is undoubtedly his most defining characteristic, serves as the one of the shoe’s many inspirations. It, though subtle, is present atop the stripes’ and heel tab’s fleece, whose shades are far lighter than the leather underneath, a backdrop that reflects the character’s own trousers. Pops of orange, then, outfit the lace unit and tongue, the latter of which is given pockets in brune explicit nod to the daywalker’s utility jacket.
