BAPE Reebok collaboration Question Mid have dotted Reebok’s release calendar throughout 2021, and it’s about to add yet another notch with this patriotic take on Allen Iverson’s most recognizable sneaker. Seen here in its attractive tumbled leather construction, this Question Mid employs all that makes the silhouette such an irresistible shoe in the crowded retro shoe market. The application of that red, royal, and gold draws a clear connection to the Philly on-court threads, and could possibly be a direct nod to the epic italic era of jerseys that started in the 1997-98 season. In fact, that jersey is arguably one of the most iconic of the 1990s as its stylish look paired perfectly with Iverson’s growing stardom.
In addition to blending well with those jerseys, this Question Mid sees a translucent gum bottom sole with a visible Reebok vector logo seen at the forefoot. It’s the Glow accenting that truly separates these from the run-of-the-mill Reebok Question colorway as we see the sparkling threading on the tongue and heel logos.
