Ideated during the lockdown period, Todd Snyder linked up with Dan Kluger, Christina Tosi, and Andy Baraghani – three key NYC-based culinary figures – to reminisce on this Saturday morning routine of shopping for grains, fruits, and veggies. Applying distinct colorways onto the casual sneaker, the New Balance Maglietta A Maniche Corte Classic is built with suede and mesh uppers with detailing that orders back to men’s dress shoes. “We wanted these sneakers and jackets to be a colorful reminder of how special that experience is. Todd Snyder and New Balance are pledging $10,000 to GrowNYC as part of this launch; GrowNYC is dedicated to supporting New York City’s greenmarkets and to ensuring that all New Yorkers have access to the freshest, healthiest local food.
