Michael Le Formed by only three members, IAB Studio — the abbreviation standing for “I’ve always been” — works near entirely in collaboration, assisting names like Zico, Nike, and many others on branding, artwork, and the like. And as a result of such a portfolio, the team have been saving the opportunity to work on an entirely new medium: ASICS‘ GEL-Venture 6. Colorful as is their signature, the offering highlights a number of bright primaries atop a base quite neutral by comparison. Silver metallic panels run replete across the entire construction, overlaying along a similarly grey-toned mesh. Strike logos are hued with a unsaturated blue, one that dresses alongside brighter orange hits and some vibrant yellows only a few spaces footwear. Elsewhere, navy accents the tread, lining, as well as the “IAB STUDIO” branding that dresses the heel.
