Slam Jam And Converse Collaborate On New Urban Utility Line And Chuck Taylor 70’s

Converse is pairing up with Italian streetwear label, Slam Jam, to bring a new series of structured staples implementing a utilitarian look that furthers the iconic brand’s foray into streetwear Garcons relevancy. The collection includes 0-6 apparel and footwear, with the centerpieces of the capsule coming by way of the Chuck ’70 Hiker and the Converse Jump Boot with the former being infused with winterized Gore-Tex technology. Artist, Cali Thornnhill Dewitt, was the lead designer behind the project and aimed to create a line where functionality meets creativity to deliver a powerful message of freedom and expression. The apparel features the phrase “Your Silence Gets You Nothing” emblazoned on the different articles in various languages to embody Dewitt’s message.
