Closely following the release of the and ASICS Create the Cozy Pink NOVABLAST, it looks like Japan’s mita Sneakers is also dropping their own version of the unique retro runner. Going quite a bit more low-key than the recent “Underground” edition by Bodega, mita’s GEL-Mai features an all-black upper in suede with a subtle tonal cheetah print on the textile base, all contrasted by a solid white sole. The insoles also feature a graphic of the shop’s signature chain-link fence, backed with the lunar surface. While we wait for a specific story behind the colorway, you can get a full preview of the design here and expect them to drop exclusively at mita on July 1st.
