ASICS To Release GEL-Respector Inspired By Japanese “Tanabata” Festival

The mens asics color team goes back to the brand’s Japanese roots once again for inspiration of their latest retro runner pack referencing the Tanabata Festival. The summer festival celebrated across Japan that dates back to ancient times is reflected in this colorway of the GEL-Respector, which features a premium nubuck upper with a unique texture in dark green and a sandy tan sole. On the substance, an insole graphic depicts one of the large streamers that decorate a Tanabata festival. The mens asics GEL-Respector in the upcoming Tanabata Pack will be available at select retailers beginning July 7th.
