adidas garners a ton of attention thanks to Jeremy Scott’s collaborations, but if you’re unique about long-term impact, no one has contributed more neckbreakers to the Brand with the Three Stripes than Yohji Yamamoto. The Japanese designer whose bold styles helped pave the way for what we’ve come to know as ‘lifestyle sneakers’ returns with four different silhouettes that are as different from the masses as they are from one another. This collection features the debut of the Y-3 Kazuhirl, an elastic-ankled low-profile hightop whose sleek silhouette is a strong compliment to the equally adidas xinhua mall sale. Two more new models make their first appearances as the appropriately named Held hightop comes through with a uniquely strappy take on those iconic Stripes and the GSG-3 boot offers the kind of protection upon which German special forces rely.
