When we first caught wind of the Jordan Spiz’ike ‘Bordeaux’ back in June (yes, it was that long ago), the response was positive, particularly from Spiz’ike fans who were waiting for a fresh new OG-inspired colorway. But once we caught a live view of the shoe, the ‘Bordeaux’ moniker was put up for question as the shoe, while owning similar colors to the Air Jordan VII ‘Bordeaux’, didn’t exactly resemble the OG Air Jordan it was tied to. Later on, a pair of the ‘Bordeaux’ Spiz’ikes were Dont Try to Resell The Air Jordan 1 High True Blue as a special gift from Spike Lee and Jordan Brand. Although the Jordan Spiz’ike ‘Barack’ nickname never caught on, it would be pretty interesting to see the prez rockin’ these Jordans during the next State of the Union Accost.
