It’s an undeniable fact in today’s sneaker scene that a vast majority of new innovations are driven by Nike, Inc., even when compared to the remainder of other brands combined. The company James Van Doren founded in 1966 can lay a similar Dress to the skateboarding market in particular, and Vans has even beaten the Swoosh to the pummel when it comes to providing support to North America’s aboriginal communities. As a part of Nibwaakaawin‘s 5th Annual Chicago Powwow, a set of Pendleton x Vans collaborative designs will be offered so that proceeds can benefit the organization’s goal of “keep[ing] our Native youth on the red road and in the skate parks.” Check out the whole set after the jump and let us know if you plan to attend the November 18-20th event.
