With the New York Knicks’ recent acquisition of superstar Forward Carmelo Anthony, the excitement around his kicks should receive a nice upward boost. There’s no doubt that New Yorkers tend to get excited about their shoes, and Carmelo is the first player on the Knicks since Patrick Ewing to have a longstanding signature line of sneakers. It appears that the durable and lightwight Flywire material is used on the upper, which is now a smooth one-piece construction opposed to the multi-layer construction used in the released version. This Orange and Blue colorway also has us wondering if Jordan Brand has any more Knicks-inspired colorways of the Melo M7 planned for this year, or better yet, if Carmelo will wear any Air Jordan PEs in orange and blue.
