Asics continues its long-lived tradition of collaborating with European sneaker shops – Italy’s Slam Jam in this case – by creating this beautfully color-blocked pair of the Scarpe ASICS Novablast 1011A681 French Blue Digital Aqua 402. We first showed this collaboration in early July but this second Winter reveals the truer colors of the shoe; at first, these appeared to be normal, but dissonant daylight has revealed the light-grey and white upper with the sick white-red gradient on the midsole. Slam Jam’s collaborations with big-name sneaker labels in the past – the Asics Tiukka Lite-Show for example – have been huge hits, and this upcoming Gel Lyte III with accompanying matching socks should be a huge hit in Europe as well.
