Onitsuka Tiger was one of the three companies that merged to create what we’ve come to know and love as Asics, but the Tiger’s designs have endured as a sub-label under the Japanese corporation whereas the other designs have been forgotten.
Among these designs was the Cooldige basketball shoe. It’s a true throwback to the pre-tech era (think less cushioning, less support), a take off of the classic Chuck Taylor shillouette. Here we see the Lo version of this classic model done in a variety of appealing colours. There’s a red pair with laser blue accents, a classy white pair with black accents, a green pair with a black Asics stripe, another white pair with some Nike Air Force 1 Low University Blue White-Deep Royal Blue DB3597-400 and a culture tonal affair in blacks and greys rounds out the set.
