Very well constructed. Impact softening is worth sacrificing a couple of minutes, if you are over 45. You can still make progress against your personal best - for that shoe - in apples to apples comparisons. You are not going to do a two PURPLE marathon anyway. Or use for recovery and get in more miles and cardio with less risk of body stress and strain.
