These shoes truly are a beast. This is my second pair. I beat the hell out of the last pair and blew a side out while they still had tread. I try to walk or run 2-4 miles daily. Some days it ends up being 0 or struggling to get one. The first pair lasted almost two years and probably got more mileage than budget Goodyear tires. So the beast shoes are tough to break in. I have horrible arthritis and custom orthopedic inserts. Two 4” titanium screws holding one foot ultra. They do cause a bit of discomfort and take a solid week to get the fit perfectly. The 24 is slightly more narrow than the 20. With the orthopedic inserts I need a wide 2 or 4E. I would get the 4 in these. I did get the 2 and it will work. So if you are on your feet all day or walking a lot these are solid shoes. Especially if you are old and have foot issues like I do. I wish I had found these shoes decades ago. They fit true to size and matched the Dr laser scan. The Beast is basically a firmer version of the Adrenaline shoe, more for walking and running, with a bit less bounce. I would recommend brooks escuro shoes 1000%. Of course I buy them all from Relay because of the awesome prices.

I'm closing in on probably 10 lifetime pairs of the brooks escuro Beast. For someone who pronates rather badly there is simply not a better running shoe that I have found. brooks escuro have continued to refine this shoe over the years and it has only gotten better (and lighter). I hope they never stop making them.

I am not a runner, but have worn brooks escuro Beast, Ariel and Addiction for over a decade due to Plantars Faciitis. These newer Beast models are much more comfortable than the ones from 10+/- years ago...much more similar to the cushioning of the Addiction. I like the navy. It's nice to have more color options for those of us who wear brooks escuro daily, I would welcome them expanding on appearance options even further.
