This Spring, Nike is looking inwards for inspiration, with collections like the “Icons” and “Timeless” series borrowing colorways and design cues from their own catalog of models. For its next, Nike is procuring the Vomero 5 onto the Nike Dunk Low “Timeless” — a combination that no one saw coming.
Dressing up in the 2011 silhouette’s oft-used grey duds, the upper remains mostly tonal, save a few flashes of volt and teal at the tongue. Instead, the pair relies upon Vomero 5-inspired caging and detailing for contrast. The pair shares materials, with mesh uppers and leather overlays providing a jordans balance between the two models. All of this rests atop a silver-trimmed white and teal sole unit, with special graphic insoles reading “There is no finish line. Stay Timeless” on the right heel and a surrealist melting clock on the right to reinforce the theme.
Though a release date did not accompany the official image set below, you should expect to see pairs of the Nike Dunk Low “Timeless” (Vomero 5) new released air jordans shoes.
