Already blessed with efforts from size? and Concepts (on several occasions) the Boston-based brand turns to one of the sneaker scene’s most-celebrated customers for its next, with this Mache x New Balance 57/40 “Pizza Day” preparing for release on — you guessed it – National Pizza Day.

The delicious delivery dives into a classic deep-pan palette, with bread-brown suede overlays, and Italian-flavored strokes of Red and Roma Green fluttered throughout. There’s also a hint of beefy brown peering from beneath the overlays — and even a sauce splash at the forefoot. There are plenty of more obvious details, too, including pizza box-inspired tongue tags — in fact, the pairs come housed in a special-edition box that replicates this, too — as well as alternated red and green aglets and co-branded pizza-graphic insoles completing the design.
