If you didn’t quite get your fill of cross-collaboration from Levi’s and New Balance in 2020, the two American goliaths will collide once more, returning again to the 99x series. While we’re still waiting on a release of the new balance 990 v3 core pack register now on end launches — a pair that first surfaced in late 2020 — this new Levi’s x New Balance 990v3 has appeared. Like that pair, this too has no confirmed date, and dons a familiar mix of denim twill and shaggy suede. The similarities stop there, though, with this iteration opting for classic blue jean pigments filling in across the inverted denim uppers, and its suede overlays. Tongues and heels honor the muted royal shade found on the underlayer’s nubuck, and is reflected again at the midfoot N. Liners, laces, and midsoles all feature an off-white finish, and the pair is then capped off by a dark blue rubber outsole underfoot, and a bevy of co-branded finished throughout. The second colorway mimics all of this in a standard NB greyscale finis.

Levi’s collaborative X-Wide with New Balance started back in April 2020 after they dropped a special “Levi’s for Your Feet” edition of the 1300 silhouette, which was then followed up by a three-piece Levi’s x New Balance 327 collab.

As of now, neither brand has confirmed the release details surrounding this Levi’s x New Balance 990v3, but with official imagery materializing online today, you should hope to hear more on its release very, very soon.
